Basketball Recap: Hartselle Now 16-3 over Last 19 Games

It's playoff time, and Hartselle had no trouble coming through when it counted. They enjoyed a cozy 61-44 win over the Decatur Red Raiders on Monday. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Red Raiders are ranked 123rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hartselle is also on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 19 games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season. As for Decatur, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-16.

Hartselle will welcome Muscle Shoals at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Decatur does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
