The third road match was the charm for the Sonora Wildcats, as they earned their first road win of the season. They came out on top against Bret Harte by a score of 56-45 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Sonora also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Sonora's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jonathan Curran led the charge by scoring 12 points. The game was Curran's third in a row with at least ten points. Roger Edwards was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.

Sonora's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Bret Harte, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.

Sonora and Amador will face off at 7:15 p.m. on January 5, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Bret Harte, they will head out on the road to face off against Argonaut at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
