Baseball Recap: Buckfield's Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

Buckfield took a eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against Traip, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bucks had just enough and edged out the Rangers 8-7 on Wednesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bucks as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Nolan Litchfield was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Buckfield is 2-1 when Litchfield posts two or more runs, but 2-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Krosby Harvey, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Buckfield's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Traip, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.
