Having just played yesterday, they will head out on the road to face off against the Clover Garden School Grizzlies at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around on Wednesday.
Bethany suffered their biggest defeat since December 12, 2023 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 86-39 loss at the hands of Carver. Bethany has struggled against Carver recently, as their game on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Clover Garden School's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They suffered a rough 71-49 defeat at the hands of Chatham Charter. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Clover Garden School has suffered against Chatham Charter since December 13, 2019.
Bethany's loss was their seventh straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-17. As for Clover Garden School, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
Bethany didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Clover Garden School when the teams last played back in November of 2023, but they still walked away with a 57-52 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bethany since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
