Baseball Game Preview: East Texas Homeschool Sports Chargers vs. Tyler HEAT

The East Texas Homeschool Sports Chargers will square off against Tyler HEAT at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Monday, East Texas Homeschool Sports came up short against CHAAMP HomeSchool and fell 7-3. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cole Sloan was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. He also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season. Caleb Cutler was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tyler HEAT). They put the hurt on Slocum with a sharp 19-10 victory on Tuesday.

The win got Tyler HEAT back to even at 2-2. As for East Texas Homeschool Sports, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Everything went East Texas Homeschool Sports' way against Tyler HEAT in their previous meeting back in April of 2021, as East Texas Homeschool Sports made off with a 13-2 victory.
