Baseball Recap: Northeastern Comes Up Short at Home Against Northwestern

Northeastern unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Northwestern Warriors on Saturday, falling 13-5. The Jets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2018.

Northwestern has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeastern is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on West Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. on April 7. As for Northwestern, they will square off against Milton-Union at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
