Eau Claire North had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They never let the River Falls Wildcats get on the board and left with  an   11-0  win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  9-0  on Tuesday.
 Ally Quaschnick was a  major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only  one  hit while striking out nine over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  earning two  runs and one  stolen base. That  stolen base marked the first that  she has  snagged this season.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Madison Pond, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, six  RBI,  and one  double. Those  hits were  her first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Claire Gruna, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Eau Claire North  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as River Falls struck out nine times.
Eau Claire North's record now sits at 4-6. As for River Falls,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-5.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eau Claire North will take on New Richmond at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for River Falls, they will face off against Holmen at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
