The Sayville Golden Flashes will square off against Smithtown West on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Sayville sitting on ten straight wins and Smithtown West on five.

Sayville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They strolled past East Hampton-Bridgehampton-Pierson with points to spare, taking the game 28-14. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Golden Flashes' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Bonackers are ranked 101st).

Meanwhile, Smithtown West took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 42-10 victory over West Islip. Considering Smithtown West has won six games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Sayville's record now sits at 10-0. As for Smithtown West, their record is now 8-2.
