Meanwhile, Norton entered their tilt with Cloverleaf on Tuesday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. Everything went their way against the Colts as they made off with a 3-0 victory.
Norton was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 25-13.
Woodridge's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-3. As for Norton, their win bumped their record up to 16-2.
Woodridge came out on top in a nail-biter against Norton in their previous meeting back in September, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Woodridge since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
