Basketball Recap: Marcellus Triumphs

Marcellus's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They managed a 51-46 win over the Gobles Tigers. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Parker Adams was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jamarion Robinson, who went 5 of 8 en route to 14 points.

The victory got Marcellus back to even at 7-7. As for Gobles, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.

Marcellus has already played their next contest, a 61-41 loss against Hartford on the 4th. As for Gobles, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 48-44 win against Fennville on the 4th.
