If Madisonville-North Hopkins was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Union County on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Maroons fell 3-1 to the Webster County Trojans on Monday. The Maroons haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Having lost for the first time this season, Madisonville-North Hopkins fell to 2-1. As for Webster County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madisonville-North Hopkins will venture away from home to challenge Christian County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Webster County, they will head out to take on Henderson County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Trojans their first taste of in-conference action this season.
