Centreville took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Washington-Liberty, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Generals 3-2. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Centreville has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Washington-Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centreville will host Yorktown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Washington-Liberty, they will be playing at home against Langley at 7:00 p.m. on September 4.
