Basketball Recap: Beamer Now 9-3 over Last 12 Games

Beamer lost to White River back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Beamer Titans came out on top against the White River Hornets by a score of 74-64. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

It was another big night for Terrence Whiting, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Johnson, who went 7 of 16 en route to 14 points along with eight boards and three steals.

Beamer smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups.

Beamer has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points per game. As for White River, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5.

The future could be bright for both Beamer and White River: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Beamer will try to hand Jefferson their 16th-straight loss when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, White River will look to extend Decatur's three-game losing streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
