Football Recap: Hilliard Red Flashes vs. Harvest Community Warriors
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fernandina Beach, Hilliard was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Harvest Community Warriors 48-6. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.
Camauri Bolden was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 128 yards and four scores on only seven carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles (2.0 for loss).
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hilliard was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 352 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Hilliard's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Jake Crews was especially locked on to Harvest Community's QB and sacked him twice. Crews is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last seven games he's played dating back to last season.
The win got Hilliard back to even at 1-1. As for Harvest Community, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Hilliard wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 40-14 victory against Cornerstone Classical Academy on the 4th. As for Harvest Community, they will challenge Santa Fe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
