Basketball Recap: Pleasanton Takes a Loss

Pleasanton lost against Ansley/Litchfield back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pleasanton Bulldogs were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 45-44 to the Ansley/Litchfield Spartans. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Pleasanton still got an impressive performance from Brennan Lindner, who posted 26 points. The game was Lindner's sixth in a row with at least ten points.

Pleasanton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Ansley/Litchfield, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8.

Pleasanton has already played their next matchup (against Blue Hill), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ansley/Litchfield will be playing at home against Arcadia/Loup City at 7:30 p.m. on February 11th. That contest will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Eli Jaixen and Luke Bailey.
