Basketball Recap: Shining Star Sports Academy Wins High-Profile Game Against Legacy Early College

Shining Star Sports Academy is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Legacy Early College. The Shining Star Sports Academy Panthers took down the Legacy Early College Lions 69-51. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Leading Shining Star Sports Academy to victory were Syvannah Dawson and Harissoum Coulibaly. Dawson went 8-for-10 en route to 18 points, while Coulibaly went 8-for-15 on her way to 19 points. Thanks to that strong game, Dawson now owns an excellent 47.2% field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Jadah White, who posted eight points and three steals.

Shining Star Sports Academy's win bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Legacy Early College, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.
