Taunton came tearing into Thursday's matchup with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the King Philip Regional Warriors 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in April.

Taunton walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-23, 25-22.

Travis Johnson paced Taunton's offense, picking up 17 kills. Johnson got some help from Daniel Freitas and his 29 assists. Stherry Simon controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Taunton's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1. As for King Philip Regional, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Taunton will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Durfee at 5:00 p.m. As for King Philip Regional, they will square off against Greater New Bedford RVT at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
