Football Recap: Beechcroft Skates Past Stivers School for the Arts with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East, Beechcroft was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Stivers School for the Arts Tigers 41-8. The Cougars' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Beechcroft's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6. As for Stivers School for the Arts, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beechcroft will host Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Stivers School for the Arts, they will welcome Shroder Paideia Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers will be up against the Jaguars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.38 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
