Volleyball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Trinity Christian Academy lost against Jackson Christian back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Trinity Christian Academy sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 20-25, 25-15, 22-25, 15-7.

Mallory Arnold paced Trinity Christian Academy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Arnold got some help from Edie Allen and her 23 assists. Allen also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Lucy Wysor, racking up two apiece.

Trinity Christian Academy's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-3. As for Jackson Christian, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Trinity Christian Academy will face off against Crockett County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jackson Christian, they will head out to face off against St. George's at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
