A Season-Best Performance from Luke Ross Leads Northern Garrett over Uniontown

On Friday, Northern Garrett got the W thanks in part to Luke Ross playing the best football he has all season. Ross rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

If the past is any indication, Ross could be in store for another big game when he takes on Mountain Ridge on Friday. Ross picked up 216 receiving yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Miners duked it out back in October of 2023.
