Volleyball Game Preview: St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats vs. Bellarmine College Prep Bells

St. Ignatius College Preparatory hasn't had much luck against Bellarmine College Prep recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bellarmine College Prep Bells at 5:30 p.m.

St. Ignatius College Preparatory lost 3-0 to Archbishop Mitty on Thursday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-14, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Bellarmine College Prep posted their closest win since March 6th on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Homestead 3-2. The Bells haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Bellarmine College Prep was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 18-25, 23-25, 25-13, 15-9.

St. Ignatius College Preparatory's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Bellarmine College Prep, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

St. Ignatius College Preparatory came out on top in a nail-biter against Bellarmine College Prep in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2.
