Soccer Recap: Keller Central Takes a Loss

After flying high against V.R. Eaton last Tuesday, Keller Central came back down to earth. The Keller Central Chargers fell just short of the Northwest Texans by a score of 5-4 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Texans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in January.

Keller Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Northwest, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-6.

Keller Central and Northwest could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Keller Central will take on Bell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 277 places (383 vs. 106). Similarly, Northwest (ranked 270th) will meet Southlake Carroll (ranked 51st) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
