Basketball Game Preview: Schoolcraft Eagles vs. Quincy Orioles

The Schoolcraft Eagles will take on the Quincy Orioles at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Schoolcraft faced off against Constantine on Friday. Schoolcraft blew past Constantine 73-16. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Quincy hadn't done well against Bronson recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Quincy snuck past Bronson with a 53-49 victory.

Quincy's win came from a few key players Schoolcraft will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Alex Dunn, who to rack up 17 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Ryan Kempter, who posted eight points in addition to ten boards and four steals.

Schoolcraft is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.2 points over those games. Quincy's win bumped their record up to 12-10.
