Baseball Recap: Thunder Ridge Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sugar-Salem, Thunder Ridge was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Century Diamondbacks.

Jacob Overson was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Teagin Jones, who scored a run and stole two bases.

Thunder Ridge's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Century, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Thunder Ridge beat Century by a score of 12-2 later that day.
