Basketball Recap: Trevor Black's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Northmor over Northridge

The Northmor Golden Knights came up short against the Northridge Vikings on Wednesday and fell 47-35. The Golden Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northmor's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trevor Black, who posted 14 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cam Spencer, who had six points and ten boards.

Northmor now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Northridge, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Northmor will be playing at home against Centerburg at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The game will give the Golden Knights their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Northridge, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-44 loss against Highland on the 6th.
