Fernando Lopez has led Point Arena in assists on the season and he led the team again on Tuesday. Lopez shot 6-for-11 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 36 points and ten rebounds, good enough to set a new career-high in points in the process. His evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Lopez will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Tomales on Friday. The Pirates were victorious the last time they faced the Braves, a win that might not have happened without Lopez: he shot 5-for-8 from long range and dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 boards.
