Basketball Recap: Southwest Christian School Takes a Loss

Southwest Christian School suffered their biggest loss since November 21, 2024 on Saturday. They were beaten by the Midland Christian Mustangs 59-32. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 285th, while the Mustangs are ranked 121st).

With the defeat, Southwest Christian School broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-7. As for Midland Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Southwest Christian School will challenge Grapevine Faith Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Midland Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Coram Deo Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
