Volleyball Recap: Mason Comes Up Short

Mason was the 2-0 winner over Loveland when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Comets lost 3-0 to the Tigers on Saturday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-22, 25-22.

Despite the defeat, Mason saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Logan Zemberi had ten digs and four aces.

Mason's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Loveland, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Mason didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Holy Cross on the 15th. As for Loveland, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Kings on the 14th.
