Soccer Recap: Danbury Takes a Loss

Danbury's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They came up short against the Greenwich Cardinals, falling 4-1. Danbury have struggled against Greenwich recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Danbury's goal came courtesy of Ava Thatcher, who's now up to nine this season.

Danbury's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-2. As for Greenwich, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Danbury has already played their next matchup, a 6-0 victory against Norwalk on the 27th. As for Greenwich, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Stamford at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
