The Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles will square off against the Tarbut V' Torah Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Capistrano Valley Christian comes in on 13 and Tarbut V' Torah on four.

On Thursday, Capistrano Valley Christian humbled The Webb Schools with an 80-43 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Capistrano Valley Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in seven consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Tarbut V' Torah humbled Southlands Christian with a 72-32 victory. The Lions is also no stranger to big wins: their blowout on Thursday was the 11 match they've won by 20+ points or more this season.

Capistrano Valley Christian pushed their record up to 22-4 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Tarbut V' Torah, their record is now 14-2.

Everything came up roses for Capistrano Valley Christian against Tarbut V' Torah when the teams last played two weeks ago, as the squad secured a 93-58 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Capistrano Valley Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
