Limestone waltzed into their match on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They never let the Pontiac Indians get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Rockets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The result came thanks to Alec Williams's shutout, as he gave up just five hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Gavin Klecker and Dylan Bitner did most of the damage at the plate: Klecker went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base, while Bitner went 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

Limestone's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-12. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Pontiac, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-16.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Limestone will take on Springfield at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pontiac, they will square off against Galesburg at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
