Basketball Recap: Chattahoochee Takes a Loss

Chattahoochee saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell to the Rome Wolves 47-42.

Chattahoochee has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Rome, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chattahoochee will square off against South Forsyth at 4:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Rome, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cherokee Bluff at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Cherokee Bluff knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 matchups -- so hopefully Rome likes a good challenge.
