Softball Recap: Walnut Hills Eagles vs. Princeton Vikings
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Walnut Hills can now relate to. They lost 10-1 to the Princeton Vikings on Wednesday. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 10-5.
Walnut Hills saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Claudia Zilliox, who went 1-for-3 with one run.
Walnut Hills has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Princeton, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-14.
