Softball Recap: Cape Coral Seahawks vs. Gateway Eagles
In what's become a running theme this season, Cape Coral gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 12-2 margin over the Gateway Eagles. The victory was familiar territory for Cape Coral who now have four in a row.
Emma Brannan was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. Brannan was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs, a triple, and an RBI.
