Basketball Recap: Polytechnic Panthers vs. Sierra Vista Dons

If Polytechnic was feeling good fresh off their 84-41 takedown of San Bernardino on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers took a 43-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sierra Vista Dons on Thursday. Polytechnic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Sierra Vista, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Polytechnic will challenge Downey at 6:10 p.m. on Monday. As for Sierra Vista, they will take on Pioneer in a tournament on Saturday. The Dons will need to watch out since the Titans have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
