Baseball Recap: Hialeah Thoroughbreds vs. Miami Beach Hi-Tides
Hialeah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 14-4 to the Miami Beach Hi-Tides. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Thoroughbreds have suffered against the Hi-Tides since April 6, 2016.

Hialeah got a good showing from Cody Gomez, who tossed 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off one hit. Gomez has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
