Basketball Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were beaten by the Union Bears 59-25. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-31 back in January.

Despite the loss, Lee still got an impressive performance from Savanna Parsons, who posted 12 points. That's the most points Parsons has posted since back in December of 2024. Gracie Garrett was another key player, putting up three points.

Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Union, their win bumped their record up to 6-14.

Lee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 66-29 loss against Ridgeview on the 13th. As for Union, they have also already played their next game, a 62-50 defeat against J.I. Burton on the 12th.
