Volleyball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Marshall Barristers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Barristers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-18, 25-13.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Marshall, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-16.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Franklin will face off against rival Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Marshall is set to challenge their familiar foe Wilson at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
