Baseball Recap: River Dell Takes a Loss

River Dell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Montclair Kimberley Academy Cougars.

David Nunez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Silverstein, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one double.

River Dell's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Montclair Kimberley Academy, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, River Dell will head out to challenge Indian Hills at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Montclair Kimberley Academy, they will face off against Hanover Park at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
