South Johnston has gone a perfect 8-0 against Hunt recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Trojans will venture away from home to face off against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. South Johnston will be looking to extend their current 17-game winning streak.

While South Johnston's victory against East Wake wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Trojans had just enough and edged out the Warriors 5-4. The five-run effort marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Hunt came up short against C.B. Aycock last Thursday, falling 28-4. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hunt saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Spell, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Another was Kennedie Carnahan, who got on base in both of her plate appearances with two runs.

South Johnston pushed their record up to 17-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Hunt, their loss dropped their record down to 5-13.

South Johnston took their win against Hunt in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
