Basketball Recap: Burkeville's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Burkeville's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 37-18 win over the Hull-Daisetta Bobcats. The victory was some much needed relief for the Mustangs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Burkeville's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Hull-Daisetta, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Burkeville will face off against Brookeland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brookeland knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Burkeville likes a good challenge. As for Hull-Daisetta, they will head out to face off against Spurger at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
