Softball Recap: Maple Lake Drops Season-High Score on Holdingford

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maple Lake). They were the clear victors by a 16-8 margin over the Holdingford Huskers on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Irish have posted against the Huskers since April 25, 2019.

The victory made it two in a row for Maple Lake and bumps their season record up to 4-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Holdingford, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
