Football Recap: St. Francis Troubadours vs. Folsom Bulldogs
While St. Francis put up plenty of points on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Folsom. The St. Francis Troubadours really took it to the Folsom Bulldogs for the full four quarters, racking up a 44-0 victory at home. The Troubadours didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.
A big part of St. Francis' victory came down to the chemistry between Lola Fox and her top target Tayli Paeu-Lindgren. Fox threw for 205 yards and three touchdowns while completing 92.3% of her passes while Paeu-Lindgren picked up 135 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Jade Abalateo, who rushed for 44 yards and a touchdown.
St. Francis didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Monet Zauner, Reese Lieuwen, and Abi Hall picked up one apiece.
St. Francis' win bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Folsom, their defeat was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-20.
