The Southern Wayne Saints scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 52-4 victory over Smithfield-Selma at home. That 48 points margin sets a new team best for Southern Wayne this season.
Southern Wayne found their leader in underclassman Kymora Stokes, who scored 18 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stokes has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Destiny Bullock, who scored seven points.
Southern Wayne is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season. As for Smithfield-Selma, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Southern Wayne will head out on the road to face off against Fike at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Smithfield-Selma, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against C.B. Aycock at 6:00 p.m.
