Baseball Recap: Cooper Takes a Loss

Cooper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Northside Falcons HomeSchool Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in February.

Cooper's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13-2. As for Northside Falcons HomeSchool, the victory was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-1-1.

Looking ahead, Cooper will face off against Tomball Kings at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Dragons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Homeschool have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. Northside Falcons HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
