The Winneconne Wolves will head out on the road to  face off against  the New London Bulldogs  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Winneconne has three straight  wins, New London has eight straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
On Tuesday, Winneconne got the win against Menasha  by a conclusive  3-0.
 The final score came out to 25-13, 25-20,  25-13.

Winneconne's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Bailey Church, who  had eight  digs and four  aces. What's more,  Church racked up 23  assists, the most she's  had  over her last nine  matches. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tess Immel, who  had five  digs and three  aces.
 They weren't the only good servers: Winneconne  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 16  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least 15  aces in three consecutive  matchups.
Meanwhile, New London came up short against  Shawano Community on Tuesday, falling  3-0.
 While New London ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20,  25-18.
 Winneconne's victory bumped their record up to 20-7. As for New London, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-20.
 Winneconne was able to grind out a solid  win over New London in their previous meeting  back in August of 2016, winning  3-1. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Bulldogs'  McCoy Mix, who  had 23  digs.
