Basketball Recap: Fairview Skates Past Atlanta with Ease

Fairview won the last time they faced Atlanta and things went their way on Friday too. The Fairview Eagles simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Atlanta Huskies 48-16.

Fairview's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Atlanta, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Fairview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-33 loss against Heston Academy on the 16th. As for Atlanta, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Au Gres-Sims at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
