Thomas Worthington had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Hilliard Davidson Wildcats on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the CARDINALS, who have now won six matches in a row.

Leading Thomas Worthington to victory were Drew Barnes and Annav Samrat. Barnes had 13 digs and one assist, while Samrat had 11 digs and three assists. Those 11 digs gave Samrat a new career-high.

Thomas Worthington's win bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Hilliard Davidson, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 16-10 record.

Looking ahead, Thomas Worthington will take on New Albany at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the CARDINALS surely won't give up without a fight. Hilliard Davidson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
