Football Recap: Archbishop Hannan Comes Up Short

Archbishop Hannan lost against Franklinton back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hawks lost 41-17 to the Demons. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Archbishop Hannan still got an impressive performance from Riley Jones, who rushed for 163 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 32 receiving yards. Jones' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 146 rushing yards. Archbishop Hannan also got help from Hunter Lay, who showed off his sure hands for 162 receiving yards.

Archbishop Hannan's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Franklinton, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither Archbishop Hannan nor the Demons have any future games scheduled.
