Softball Recap: Cypress Bay Falls Short of West Broward in the Playoffs

Cypress Bay and West Broward squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Cypress Bay had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bobcats, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Lightning's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cypress Bay has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for West Broward, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-7.

As of now, neither Cypress Bay nor the Bobcats have any future games scheduled.
